Provenance information | Each applicant for an EPA IPPC license should submit details out the facility boundary. The boundary is digitised manually as a new feature in the existing dataset from looking at the paper maps supplied in the application. Reg number attributes are assigned to each boundary. The first 5 digits are refering to the facility and the '-01' or '-02' refers to the licence version. After the full license is issued, the license is checked and amendments to the boundary are made if required. Spatial Accuracy: Most boundaries have been digitised manually from paper maps using OSI aerial photography as the reference map. Thematic Accuracy: The boundaries are given the same EPA Reg Code as is on the license. |
