Provenance information In 2000 the CORINE technical team in Ireland decided to map Pasture 231 and Peatlands 412 to level 6 detail. This was done in an attempt to provide more detail on these key landcover classes in Ireland which are not as prevalent in other areas of Europe and as a result are not described at sufficient detail at level 3. The more detailed level of classification can be seen at the link providing in the metadata online resources.
