These focal points and views have a very important amenity, tourism, economic and cultural value for the County and its people. It is therefore important to protect and conserve these views and vistas and development where permitted should not hinder or obstruct these views and vistas but should be located and designed in a manner so as not to negatively impact on these focal points and views.Galway County Council provides this information with the understanding that it is not guaranteed to be accurate, correct, or complete.
