Provenance information An EMEP monitoring site carries out air quality monitoring under the Convention for Long Range Trans boundary Air Pollution. The samples collected form monitoring sites are analysed by Met Eireann and data is submitted to NLIU(Norwegian Institute for Air Research) via the EBAS portal http://ebas.nilu.no/ Some sites are inactive as they were closed down by operators or for operational reasons sampling was no longer feasible.
