Provenance information | Each applicant for a Waste License is required to submit information about the site boundary in the application, preferably as a CAD drawing. If a CAD drawing of the facilities is supplied it is used for creating the boundary geometry. If there is no CAD drawing the boundary is digitised manually from paper maps supplied in the application and using OSI aerial Photography. Reg number attributes are assigned to each boundary. The first 5 digits are refering to the facility and the '-01' or '-02' refers to the licence version. After a new license is issued, the license is checked and amendments to the boundary are made if required. Spaital Accuracy: the majority of the boundaries have been digitised manually from the paper maps and have not been verified. Thematic accuracy: The EPA reg code from the license is assigned to each boundary. |
