Rátáil oscailteachta:

The Automatic Water Quality Monitoring Stations (AWQMS) measure the following parameters at high frequency (sub 10 mins): DateTime, Depth (m), Water temperature (degC), Conductivity (milli Siemens/cm), Salinity (parts per thousand), DOPC (% Saturation), DO (mg/l), pH (pH units), and ChlA (millivolts). Two AWQMS systems have been maintained in the Burrishoole catchment, one on a freshwater lake, Lough Feeagh and one on a coastal lagoon, Lough Furnace. Data has been collected on a continuous basis since 2004. Water quality observations and measurements have been collected via temperature sensors and Conductivity Temperature Depth (CTD). Data collected supports knowledge and understanding of the quality of water in the catchment lakes ecosystem. Data has been collected by the Marine Institute Newport catchment facility team. Data coverage 100% complete for operational instrumentation.

Eolas Dualfhoinse The Automatic Water Quality Monitoring Station sits in the middle of Lough Feeagh collecting data every 10 minutes from up to 20 sensors and stores it in memory. Every hour a second file is created of the averaged data. The AWQMS measures Conductivity, Dissolved Oxygen, pH, Relative Humidity, Solar Radiation, Turbidity, Water Temperature, Wind Direction, and Wind Speed.
