Multi-disciplinary biological oceanographical survey in the Celtic Sea to the south of Ireland. A multidisciplinary cross services survey with the following work plans: 1. Location and densities of the scallop ground South of Saltees Islands using the UWTV equipment. 2. UWTV survey over other scallop groungs south of Waterford 3. In conjunction with the Oceanography department locate the Irish sea front, carry out 24 hour plankton sampling using the MULTINET either side of front to establish whether there are differences in the distribution/density of mussel larvae. 4. Plankton sampling in known areas of seabass locations in order to find hotspots of seabass larvae.
