Eolas Dualfhoinse | This dataset represents a snapshot taken in September 2016 for the purpose of the WFD RBMP Cycle 2. The data contained in this dataset is initially created at a site specific level and then incorporated into a national dataset for dissemination. The site specific level data is produced from the locations identified by NPWS staff and from records in the NPWS rare and threatened species database. An Intersect operation using the relevant SAC boundary is performed. Additional appropriate attribution is given to the dataset. Expert opinion is used to resolve any issues which arise. The locations of Geyer's Whorl Snail are represented with 1 km grid squares due to the sensitive nature of this species. This dataset has been created using ArcMap 10.1. The coordinate reference system of this dataset is Irish National Grid. |
