This is a dataset of the areas that marketing, sale, distribution and burning of bituminous coal has been banned or restricted as part of 2012 Regulations (S.I. No. 326 of 2012).

The restricted areas are defined in the 2012 regulations. Electoral districts polygon geometry (see metadata for details) was used for deliniating the boundaries. The rest of the country was assigned as 'Unrestricted'.
